ANNA INDIAN ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB

The Anna Indian Athletic Booster Club was formed last year to offset the cuts that were made to the athletic programs. The 7th and 8th grade programs were to have less than half of the games scheduled that they had played in recent years and as for the 5th and 6th grade programs they were cut totally. The athletic programs were cut drastically, but at the last moment our community came together to help the kids out. We raised $29,580.10 from August 2010 through June 2011.

Anna District # 37 has estimated to continue having a full athletic program we need to raise approximately $17,000 each school year. We are asking every parent, grandparent, community member, and business to join our Anna Indian Athletic Booster Club again this year. We are continuing our four levels of membership of our booster club. On the following page are a list of the levels, find one that best suits your budget.

The state of Illinois has put our kids in this situation and has taken many opportunities away from them. As a booster club we totally understand that academics are foremost the most important, but we feel that our children should be offered every opportunity in academics and athletics. We would like to send a message to our kids, that if we come together with our community we can continue and build our athletic program.

For those that were able to help us out last year, I want to take the opportunity to thank you for our great success last year. Our community came together at a time of need to help the kids of Anna District # 37. Please join us again this year in making sure our kids in our community are given every opportunity.
