Hello Parents and Guardians of Anna 37 Students,
As all of you are aware, a wave of violence has been affecting schools across the country. I
know we are all feeling the impact of recent tragedies while reflecting on our own students’
safety.
In light of these reflections, I am encouraged that Anna 37 has agreed to focus on reducing
school violence through our shared participation in the ThreatZero violence prevention program.
The mission of the ThreatZero program in our school is to identify and mitigate incidents of
violence, self harm, etc. before they occur.
In the coming days your students and our staff will begin this program—as such we wanted to
share some information about what is being shared, and provide some awareness so that you
can also help to be part of the solution. Please note that everything presented in these trainings
is 100% evidence based, and void of any graphic or violent content.
