Anna CCSD #37 Educators Receive Prestigious Honors
Anna Community Consolidated School District #37 is proud to recognize three educators who have recently received major professional honors.
Andrea Feloni and Kaylee Rose were awarded the Award of Special Recognition by the Illinois State Board of Education through the Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year 2026 (TWETOY2026) program for their dedication to student learning and leadership within the school community.
Joshua Shearer has also been named one of only 30 finalists statewide for the 2026 Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching — one of Illinois’ highest recognitions for educators. Nearly 600 teachers were nominated for the award, which honors teachers who make a lasting and positive impact on students and their school communities.
