5th and 6th girls basketball practice has been cancelled for today. January 25, 2024.
Good morning. This message is for Davie and Jr High parents and guardians. When dropping students off in the morning, please do not drop them off in the new parking lot. There is no cross guard at that cross walk. Students must be dropped off on Green Street. Also, as a reminder, parents wishing to park in the new parking lot after school to pick students up, must park, walk across Jefferson street using the crosswalk there, pick your child up on the sidewalk in front of the school, and return to your vehicle in the same manner. At no time, morning or afternoon, should students cross green street from the middle of the new parking lot. All pedestrian traffic should cross via the Jefferson street crosswalk. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
Volleyball parents/players meeting will be in the cafeteria on Thursday, January 25 @ 5:15.
Spring pictures for Anna District 37 will be as follows: Feb 6 will be Lincoln, Feb 7 will be 3rd thru 5th grade, and Feb 8 will be 6th thru 8th grade.
We will open 5th and 6th grade basketball to the 4th grade girls. Tryouts will be on Wednesday, January 24.

Due to Vienna not having school today the boys basketball game for tonight has been cancelled. Boy basketball will practice right after school today.

Volleyball updates
Due to inclement weather, District 37 schools will be closed tomorrow, January 16th. This will be an e-learning day. Learning materials were sent home with students on Friday. Tomorrow’s work should be completed and turned in upon our return to school. Teachers will be available to contact between the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All athletic events and extra curricular activities are canceled as well. Stay warm and safe. Thank you and have a good day.

This is a reminder that on Friday, January 12, we will have the 5th grade Dare Graduation at 1:30 in the lower gym.

We will monitor the weather over the weekend. If a school closure is needed, we will communicate this as soon as possible.
