This message is a reminder about after-school tutoring. Tutoring will resume at Lincoln today, January 3rd. Tutoring will resume at Davie and the Jr. High on January 9th. The times and days of the week will remain the same. Thank you for allowing us to continue working with your child in this capacity, and happy new year to everyone.
Mr Goddard's bus route will be running 45 minutes late this afternoon (12/15/23) and Monday December 18 both morning and afternoon routes will be 45 minutes late.
This is a quick reminder to District 37 parents and guardians of this week’s Christmas programs: December 12th - 1st and 2nd grade 6:00 PM, 3rd and 4th grade 7:00 PM. December 14th - Kindergarten 6:00 PM, Jr High band and chorus 7:00 PM. Parking will be available on the lower playground and the new parking lot in front of the school. This lot is not finished. Anyone using it, please be mindful of other cars and pedestrians, as there are no parking bumpers or signs installed yet. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you this week.
The District 37 PTO Holiday Shop will be held next week. Flyers and a return envelope will come home with students on Friday. Money needs to be returned in the envelope next week by the day your child is scheduled to shop. Shopping days are: PK - 2nd grade - 12/13, 6th - 8th grade - 12/14, and 3rd - 5th grade - 12/15. This is a great opportunity for children to shop for loved ones. As in the past, all students will have the opportunity to shop. The Girls game that was scheduled for tomorrow night, 12/5/23, at Vienna has been moved to Friday, 1/5/24, due to referee cancellations. It will still be at the same time just moved to a different day.

Just wanted to invite all of you to AJ Highschool this Friday night (@6pm) as the boys basketball team takes on Jonesboro in our 2nd annual bragging rights game. This is becoming a bigger event each year as last year we introduced the "bragging rights trophy" and this year we're taking our rivalry to AJ that'll be broadcasted on the local radio and potentially live streamed by Chris Dexter.
The boys will be wearing throwback (black) retro jerseys while the fans will be "blacking out" in our seating section. We certainly hope you all can make it and be apart of this ever-growing event 👍🙌
This is a reminder that all Show me the Dough cake roll fundraisers are to be picked up tonight at Lincoln school. Pick up will be from 4:30-6:30. Davie Elementary parents and guardians. On November 15th, the PTO will host Donuts with Grownups. Times will be: 3rd grade 8:30-9:00, and 4th grade 9:00-9:30. Guests attending should enter through the lower cafeteria door (#14). In order to accommodate all guests, we must adhere to timelines strictly. We have had a great response, so we apologize in advance if space is crowded or parking is limited. Overflow parking will be available on the lower playground, across from the old Ford garage. This message is for all pre-kindergarten parents and guardians. Due to a water leak at Lincoln, all pre-kindergarten classes will be cancelled tomorrow, November 6th. All other classes will be held as normal.
This is a reminder that all district 37 schools will dismiss early today, November 2, and Tuesday November 7th, for parent-teacher conferences. Dismissal times are 2:05 for Lincoln, 2:10 for Davie, and 2:15 for Jr. High. Thank you
The Blood Drive set for November 6, 2023 at Anna Jr High has been rescheduled for November 27, 2023. It will still be from 12-5 in the lower gym. The Red Cross had to reschedule because of some unforeseen circumstances.
