Due to inclement weather, the Boys' Basketball regional game that was scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The game is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
Due to inclement weather and deteriorating road conditions, District 37 schools will dismiss early today. Dismissal times are: Lincoln 1:20, Davie - 1:25, and Jr. High 1:30. Information regarding tomorrow will be sent separately as soon as possible.
Due to the inclement weather that is expected to continue throughout the day, after school daycare will not be held today. The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys' and girls' basketball games have also been cancelled. All after school practices are cancelled tonight as well. A decision on the Boys' Regional game tonight has not been made at this time. We will update you as soon as we know.

Anna CCSD #37 Families, we are again tracking winter weather for this week. It isn't clear if tonight's precipitation will cause roadways to be dangerous tomorrow morning. This means that if a call has to be made, it will be an early morning call. Please have a plan in place just in case, but as of right now, we intend to have school tomorrow, January 30, 2023. Also, please be aware that more winter weather is in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday. We will continue to monitor the situation and will get information out to families as soon as we can.
The 8th grade parent meeting set for
Monday, January 30 at 6:00 pm is going to be rescheduled. Our boys Varsity basketball team will be playing in the Regional Championship that night at 6:00 pm in Johnston City. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to planning a celebration for our 8th grade students graduation on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the school cafeteria.
I want to clarify that the girls 4, 5, and 6 basketball team will practice at 3:30 to 5:00 and the boys 4, 5, and 6 basketball team will practice from 5:30 to 7:00.

Good morning. Due to winter precipitation and current road conditions, Anna CCSD #37 will have a SNOW DAY today, January 25, 2023.
District #37 Families, the winter weather isn't expected until late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Because of this, we most likely will be unable to make a decision about school until tomorrow morning. According to our e-learning plan, we will only use an e-learning day if we can inform families of this in advance. This means that if inclement weather does hit the district tonight or tomorrow morning, we will have a good, old-fashioned snow day. Please have a plan in place just in case.

Due to the timing of tonight’s potential weather, we will not be able to make a decision/call about tomorrow until tomorrow morning. Any 4th grade boy wanting to try out for 5th and 6th grade boys basketball we will have practice on Monday January 23, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00. Your child will need a sports physical and permission slip signed. Please have your child show upon Monday and we will work on the physical and permission slip.

Revised 5/6 girls basketball schedule
Any boys wanting to try out for the 5th and 6th grade boys basketball, there will be a tryouts on Tuesday January 17 from 3:30 to 5:00. There will be a schedule given out for the next two weeks on that Tuesday. Each student must have a physical and parent permission wavier. I know this is a short notice, I apologize for that, if a student wants to try out and doesn’t have either one done please come to practice and we will get it worked out.
Attention all 8th grade parents/guardians. There will be a parent meeting to discuss the upcoming 8th grade celebration. Any and all interested parents are encouraged to come. Meeting will be held in the junior High cafeteria on Monday January 30, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
